Penguins' Yeo back at practice
Jan 18, 2010 - 11:42 PM PITTSBURGH(AP) -- Pittsburgh Penguins assistant coach Mike Yeo has returned to practice and is expected to be behind the bench Tuesday against the Islanders after being hospitalized earlier this month with a blood-pressure problem.Yeo spent several days in a hospital following a Jan. 2 game in Tampa. He has since been placed on medication, and he did not accompany the Penguins on a five-game road trip that ended Saturday.
Yeo said he hadn't missed a game or practice in 10 years of coaching before having his recent problem.
Yeo, a former Penguins prospect whose career was ended by a knee injury, joined the team as an assistant coach in 2005 and was retained after Dan Bylsma replaced Michel Therrien as coach last season.
