Talbot to return for Penguins
May 11, 2008 - 6:22 PM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins will have center Maxime Talbot back in the lineup Sunday when they host the Philadelphia Flyers in Game Two of the Eastern Conference finals.Penguins coach Michel Therrien confirmed during Sunday's morning skate that Talbot would play against the rival Flyers.
Talbot has missed the last three games after blocking a shot in Game Three of Pittsburgh's previous series against the New York Rangers.
Known for his physical play, Talbot has one goal and one assist in the playoffs.
"I am sure he will be excited to get back out there, and on our penalty kill, he's a big part of that," Penguins captain Sidney Crosby said. "He's an energy guy, so I think we all expect him just to provide a lot of energy for us."
Pittsburgh won the series opener, 4-2, on Friday and is 6-0 at home in the playoffs.
