0 shoutsST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Wild signed right wing Antti Miettinen to a multi-year contract Thursday.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal reportedly is for three years.
Miettinen, 28, played in 69 games for the Dallas Stars last season, scoring a career-high 15 goals and totaling 34 points.
"Antti will add speed to our lineup, score goals and compete hard, a combination that will mesh well with our team identity," Minnesota general manager Doug Risebrough said. "And he's just 28 years old. His best hockey is ahead of him."
A native of Finland, Miettinen has recorded 38 goals and 53 assists in 238 games over four seasons - all with the Stars, who selected him in the seventh round of the 2000 draft.
