The 300th home game in Minnesota Wild history certainly offered 
a bit of excitement for the crowd of 18,568 at the Xcel Energy 
Center in St. Paul.  Minnesota played its 300th home game on 
Monday, but lost 6-5 to the Colorado Avalanche. ... C 
Pierre-Marc Bouchard had his 12th career three-point game with a
goal and two assists. It was his eighth-career two-goal game. 
... C Mikko Koivu notched his second consecutive three-point 
game with a goal and two assists.  He has 10 points during his 
five-game point streak.  His 144 career points moves him past 
Pascal Dupuis into sixth-place on the team's all-time point 
list. ... RW Owen Nolan has a goal in four straight games, two 
off his career high set in 1999 and matched in 2003. ... D Brent
Burns had a goal and assist Monday to give him 100 career points
(31 goals, 69 assists). He became the 13th player in team 
history to reach the mark...C Eric Belanger played in his 500th 
career game. ... Minnesota lost for the first time in franchise 
history when scoring five goals. ... D Kim Johnsson was named 
the team's captain for the month of December.  The Wild rotate 
captains on a monthly basis, and Johnsson was selected to wear 
the "C" for the first time.  His first time out as captain was a
struggle, as Johnsson was a minus-3 in Monday's loss
