0 shoutsDETROIT (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi left Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first period with an ankle injury.
Detroit defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom unleashed a shot from just outside the left faceoff circle which hit Scuderi on the left ankle.
Scuderi was taken to the locker room, but returned with three minutes to play in the session.
The 29-year-old blue-liner has one goal and one assist in 15 games this season.
