Penguins G Fleury to miss next game
Nov 17, 2008 - 7:31 PM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will miss Tuesday's contest against the Minnesota Wild with an undisclosed injury.Fleury suffered the injury late in Saturday's 5-2 triumph over the Buffalo Sabres but still finished the contest.
"He's not going to play," Penguins coach Michel Therrien said Monday. "It's not a major injury, but we don't want to take any risks. That's why we want to be really cautious with his injury."
Fleury, who did not practice Monday, is 8-3-2 with a 2.86 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage this season.
Dany Sabourin will start in his place.
