Chicago (10-4-6) at Anaheim (12-8-3), 4:00 pm EST
ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Despite a pedestrian home record, the Anaheim Ducks have managed to keep their heads above water in the rough Western Conference.
Seeking their second straight win at Honda Center, the Ducks host the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.
Anaheim is 6-6-2 at home, but still has the fourth-best record in the conference thanks to a current stretch in which it has three regulation losses in 17 contests.
Owners of a 28-9-4 record at Honda Center last season, the Ducks snapped a 1-3-1 skid at home with a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.
Chicago has dropped three straight and has won just twice in its last 19 games in Anaheim, with 15 losses and two ties. It has won three of the last 21 meetings overall.
The Blackhawks are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday, which ended their three-game win streak.
Captain Jonathan Toews scored twice after having entered play with two goals on the season.
