NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby on Monday was named the NHL's "First Star" of the week.
Crosby led all players last week with nine points (six goals, three assists) as the Penguins went 2-1-0.
Crosby is behind only teammate Evgeni Malkin in the league's scoring race with 34 points (13 goals, 31 assists).
Anaheim Ducks Canucks goaltender Jonas Hiller, who posted a 2-0-0 record with a 0.50 goals-against average and .984 save percentage, was named the "Second Star."
The "Third Star" went to St. Louis Blues goaltender Chris Mason, who won both of his starts and stopped 75 of 77 shots.
