Penguins LW Fedotenko out 4-6 weeks
Jan 9, 2009 - 8:02 PM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Penguins left wing Ruslan Fedotenko will miss the next four to six weeks with a broken right hand, the team announced Friday.The Penguins placed Fedotenko on injured reserve.
Fedotenko, 29, suffered the injury in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Atlanta. Fedotenko was involved in a fight with Colby Armstrong, knocking down the former Penguin with just one punch.
Signed as a free agent over the summer, Fedotenko has recorded 11 goals and 10 assists in 39 games this season. The Ukranian has nine goals and 12 points in 37 contests this campaign.
