season. ... C Patrick Marleau scored two goals, extending his 
team-leading total to 29. ... The shootout loss was the third in
the month of February for the Sharks, who have dropped their 
last four in the bonus format. ... Both Buffalo and San Jose 
registered 35 shots on goal, marking the first time in 15 games 
the Sharks did not outshoot their opponent.  San Jose and 
Calgary each had 28 shots in their contest on January 6, and the
Sharks have not been outshot since December 29.
