North Carolina vs. Ohio State: The North Carolina Tar Heels came back and won a big overtime game against No. 23 Ohio State at Madison Square Garden, 89-84. Trailing by 2 with less than 2 seconds remaining in regulation Pete Nance hit a tough turnaround as the buzzer sounded to force overtime where the Heels pulled away. Armando Bacot had another monster game, scoring 28 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the win.
UNC 89, OSU 84Ohio State vs. Duke: The No.17 Blue Devils fought off a pesky No.25 Ohio State squad at home in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, 81-72. Five Duke players reached double-figures led by Kyle Filipowski who dropped 16 points and had 7 rebounds. Dereck Lively II chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds for Blue Devils.
