RUT 31, MFL 24Rutgers vs. Miami: The Hurricanes lost to the Scarlet Knights, 31-24, in the 2023 Pinstripe Bowl. After trailing 14-0 early, Miami took a 17-14 lead early in the second half, but a blocked punt returned for a touchdown swung the momentum back to Rutgers. Jacurri Brown was 20-31 for 181 yards and a touchdown passing, and he ran for 57 yards and two more touchdowns. Xavier Restrepo caught 11 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. Restrepo finished the season with over 1,000 yards receiving and his 85 catches set a new Miami single season record. Rutgers gained 208 rushing yards on 45 carries with Kyle Monangai rushing for 163 of those yards. Monangai also had a touchdown and 17 receiving yards.

QB Jack Plummer played a terrific game when it mattered most, completing 24 of his 37 passing attempts for 308 yards and 3 touchdowns. Isaac Guerendo carried the ball 14 times for 91 yards and a touchdown. For Miami, Mark Fletcher Jr. carried the ball 17 times for 126 yards and touchdown, while Xavier Restrepo had 8 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown.

LOU 38, MFL 31Miami's Brashard Smith was given the ball on a reverse and he had freshman offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa leading the way. With a Louisville defensive back in his way, Mauigoa just pushes him to the ground and frees the way for Smith to go to the house for a 34-yard touchdown.
LOU 38, MFL 31After two Miami defensive backs collided into each other, it left Louisville wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. wide open along the sideline. He made one Hurricane miss, and then he was gone for the 58-yard Cardinals' touchdown. The touchdown was the go-ahead score for Louisville and is our CPI Security Securing The Win play of the game.
