Joe Hugill opened the scoring midway through the first half, guiding home Marley Watkins’ cross after an entertaining start at Rugby Park—where Killie had beaten leaders Hearts the previous week. It was scorer Hugill turned provider for Findlay Curtis, who celebrated his first senior Scotland call up with his first league goal for Killie.
