Mar 3, 2007 - 4:13 PM New Mexico St (22-7) at No. 9 Nevada (26-3) 10:05 pm EST

RENO, Nevada (Ticker) -- Nevada senior Nick Fazekas will try finish his career on a positive note in his last home game.

The ninth-ranked Wolf Pack hope to complete an undefeated home season when they face New Mexico State in a Western Athletic Conference battle on Saturday.

Nevada (26-3, 13-2 WAC) aims to bounce back after having its impressive nine-game winning streak snapped with Thursday's 79-77 overtime setback at Utah State.

Fazekas, who is the reigning two-time conference Player of the Year, is averaging 20.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks this season. He will finish his college career as the Wolf Pack's all-time leader in points and blocks.

Ted Knauber scored 16 points and Elijah Ingram chipped in 13 as New Mexico State (22-7, 11-4) picked up its fourth win in five games on Thursday, a 79-64 victory over Louisiana Tech.

In their first meeting, the Aggies came away with an 80-73 triumph on January 20, snapping the Wolf Pack's three-game winning streak in the series, which New Mexico leads 14-8.
