Walker helps UCLA dominate Oregon
Jan 15, 2011 - 11:59 PM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Markel Walker totaled 14 points and five rebounds as 10th-ranked UCLA took an 87-57 win over Oregon in a Pac-10 battle.Doreena Campbell had 13 points and five assists while Atonye Nyingifa and Darxia Morris each donated 12 points for the Bruins (15-1, 5-0 Pac-10), who have won five straight.
Amanda Johnson totaled 12 points and nine rebounds for the Ducks (11-6, 2-4), who have lost two in a row.
Thanks to 53.8 percent shooting in the first half, compared to just 28.0 percent from the Ducks, the Bruins held a 45-18 lead after 20 minutes and maintained a sizeable lead throughout the second half.
