Feb 17, 2012 - 3:08 AM Charlottesville, VA (Sports Network) - Tianna Hawkins had a double-double with a career-high 26 points and 14 rebounds, as the eighth-ranked Maryland Terrapins dominated the Virginia Cavaliers, 73-56.Alyssa Thomas added 16 points and 10 boards for the Terrapins (22-4, 9-4 ACC), who bounced back from a 76-74 loss to Miami-Florida on Sunday.
Ariana Moorer ended with 23 points, five rebounds and five steals for the Cavaliers (18-9, 6-7), who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Ataira Franklin donated 10 points.
