No. 6 Baylor dominates Iowa State
Feb 20, 2014 - 3:51 AM Waco, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Odyssey Sims finished with 24 points and nine assists to lead sixth-ranked Baylor to an 89-51 victory over Iowa State.Nina Davis and Makenzie Robertson scored 11 apiece and Khadijiah Cave added 10 points and seven boards for the Lady Bears (23-3, 13-1 Big 12), who have won nine straight.
Seanna Johnson had 12 and Hallie Christofferson added 10 points for the Cyclones (17-8, 6-8), who have lost three of their last four.
Iowa State stayed close through the first 10 minutes of play before Baylor used a 19-5 tear to take a 33-17 lead with just over four minutes left in the half.
The Lady Bears took a 38-21 lead into the break. The Cyclones came within 15 points after Christofferson knocked down a pair from the line 18 seconds into the second half, however, Iowa State could not come closer the rest of the way.
