Notre Dame needs overtime to down Bowling Green

Dec 6, 2007 - 3:30 AM BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (Ticker) -- Lindsey Schrader had 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead 20th-ranked Notre Dame to a hard-fought 86-84 overtime victory over Bowling Green on Wednesday.

Charel Allen added 17 points and seven boards for the Irish (7-1), whose bench outscored the Falcons, 37-16.

After Bowling Green's Kate Achter made two free throws to tie it at 84-84 with 27 seconds remaining, Allen hit a 15-foot jumper in the final seconds for the win.

Achter scored 20 points for the Falcons (6-1).
