HELSINKI, Finland (Ticker) -- Sidney Crosby had three assists and Evgeni Malkin scored a power-play goal to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-1 victory over Jokerit of the Finnish Elite League on Thursday at Hartwall Arena.
Ruslan Fedotenko, Tyler Kennedy and Pascal Dupuis also tallied for the Penguins, who finished the preseason with a 4-0-1 record and will start the regular season on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators in Stockholm, Sweden.
Malkin opened the scoring exactly nine minutes into the contest off assists from Crosby and rookie defenseman Alex Goligoski. Crosby and new teammate Miroslav Satan assisted on Fedotenko's go-ahead goal with 10 seconds left in the first period.
Janne Lahti cut Jokerit's deficit to 2-1 on a penalty shot at 5:03 of the third period, but Kennedy answered nearly seven minutes later and Dupuis netted an empty-netter to secure the win.
Marc-Andre Fleury held the Finnish club scoreless for over 33 minutes before he was replaced by Dany Sabourin, who finished the contest.
