Boston (14-3-4) at Buffalo (9-8-3), 7:00 p.m. EST
BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins have been on fire during the month of November. The Buffalo Sabres are well-aware.
Riding a four-game winning streak, the Bruins look to post their third victory over the Sabres this month when the teams meet on Wednesday.
Boston is 9-0-1 in November - 12-1-1 in its last 14 overall - and has risen to the top of the Northeast Division.
The Bruins posted a 3-1 victory over Buffalo on November 8 and again defeated the Sabres, 7-4, on November 19 - both wins coming at home.
Boston is coming off a 3-2 shootout victory over Montreal on Saturday as goaltender Tim Thomas stopped all three attempts in the bonus format after Blake Wheeler scored in the first round. Thomas has a 1.80 goals-against average and leads the league with a .944 save percentage.
Buffalo has dropped five consecutive contests and has three wins in its last 13 games.
Mark Mancari and Derek Roy both tallied in the Sabres' 4-2 loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday.
Buffalo has been outscored 25-9 during its skid.
