Dallas (8-11-4) at Calgary (14-9-1), 9:30 pm EST
CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames hope this month goes as well as November ended.
Before heading on a four-game road trip, the Flames attempt to win their fourth consecutive contest when they host the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.
Miikka Kiprusoff made 17 saves as Calgary posted a 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
Daymond Langkow scored a power-play goal and David Moss and Matthew Lombardi also tallied for the Flames, who swept their home-and-home series with the Canucks and won for the fifth time in six contests.
Calgary also handed Vancouver its first regulation loss in 11 contests with a 4-3 win Thursday.
The Flames' streak will be challenged by the Stars, who are showing signs of climbing out of their prolonged slump. Dallas went just 4-6-2 during November but have won two of its last three games.
The Stars, who advanced to the Western Conference finals last season, owns the worst record in the conference.
Mike Modano scored a power-play goal to snap a tie with 2:21 remaining in the third period as Dallas recorded a 4-3 triumph over the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
