Sun beat Silver Stars to improve to 3-0

May 26, 2012 - 1:30 AM Uncasville, CT (Sports Network) - Renee Montgomery scored 23 points, Tina Charles supplied 18 points and the Connecticut Sun posted an 83-79 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

Asjha Jones finished with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Sun, who led by as many as 15 while improving to 3-0 on the young season.

Danielle Adams had 21 points to pace San Antonio, which played for the first time since Saturday's season-opening win over Tulsa.

Sophia Young contributed nine points and nine rebounds in defeat.
