Sylvia Fowles totaled 22 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for the Sky, who fell despite 13 points from Sonja Petrovic and 11 by Swin Cash.
Minnesota led by nine after one quarter, extended that edge to 51-34 at the half and never looked back.
