Liberty take down Storm
Jun 30, 2012 - 10:39 PM Newark, NJ (Sports Network) - Essence Carson and Cappie Pondexter had 22 and 20 points, respectively, as the New York Liberty took down the Seattle Storm, 77-59, on Saturday.DeMya Walker added 11 points for the Liberty, who had lost four of five.
Ann Wauters and Tina Thompson ended with 10 points apiece for the Storm, who had a five-game winning streak snapped. Sue Bird donated nine points.
The Liberty led by as many as 18, while Seattle's biggest lead was six.
