Crows to train at MCG before AFL decider
Sep 27, 2017 - 3:45 AM Adelaide have been granted a grand final eve training session on the MCG.The Crows will train at the MCG on Friday afternoon ahead of Saturday's decider against Richmond.
Adelaide sought permission to train at the grand final venue after Greater Western Sydney were afforded the same opportunity before their preliminary final.
"It will be a closed training session for both high performance and security reasons," Adelaide chief executive Andrew Fagan told reporters on Wednesday.
"... Once we get to the MCG, the business is on."
The Crows have played in 14 finals at the MCG for a seven-seven win-loss record.
Overall, Adelaide have played 55 games at the venue for 22 wins, 32 losses and a draw.
The draw came in Adelaide's last visit to the venue, against Collingwood in round 19 this year.
The Crows won their other two matches at the MCG this season, in round two against Hawthorn and round 15 against Carlton.
