Ottawa duo among CFL's top players

Oct 7, 2014 - 5:36 PM Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Ottawa running back Jonathan Williams and RedBlacks defensive lineman Justin Capicciotti were among the top players for Week 15 the CFL season.

Williams captured the offensive award after compiling 229 yards from scrimmage with a pair of touchdowns in Ottawa's 42-20 victory over Winnipeg. He ran for 180 yards, including scores of 53 and 2 yards, and caught two passes for 49 yards.

Capicciotti was selected as the top Canadian. He notched a pair of sacks and a tackle in the lopsided win over the Blue Bombers.

Calgary defensive lineman Shawn Lemon earned the top defensive honor thanks to a pair of sacks and a forced fumble in the Stampeders' 31-24 win at Saskatchewan.

Toronto kicker Swayze Waters picked up the special teams nod for the second time in his career. He booted six field goals and accounted for 21 points in the Argos' 33-32 home win over Edmonton.
