Alouettes add Lewis, LeFevour
Feb 25, 2015 - 10:47 PM Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Montreal Alouettes signed quarterback Dan LeFevour and wide receiver Nik Lewis to one-year contracts on Wednesday.Lewis has spent his entire 11-year career with the Stampeders, compiling 11,250 receiving yards and 65 touchdowns. He won the Grey Cup twice (2008, 2014) and sits 11th on the all-time CFL receiving list.
"Nik is another piece of the puzzle to an outstanding receiving corps for 2015," said Alouettes general manager Jim Popp. "His body of work speaks for itself and his style of play is very difficult to defend. We feel he adds a twist that every team in the CFL wish they could have."
LeFevour spent all three of his seasons in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger- Cats, throwing for 1,670 yards with five touchdowns and six interceptions. He also added 631 rushing yards and 11 scores 104 carries.
