Rain postpones Sunday's game between Red Sox and Angels
Apr 15, 2007 - 2:06 PM BOSTON (Ticker) -- Sunday afternoon's game between the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim has been postponed due to rain. No makeup date has been announced.The teams will conclude their rain-shortened three-game series on Monday with the tradional Patriots Day game at 10:05 a.m. EDT.
However, the starting time of Monday's game may be changed due to the weather conditions and the forecast.
Sunday's scheduled starters - Josh Beckett (2-0) of Boston and Ervin Santana (1-1) of the Angels - will start on Monday.
The Red Sox won the first two games of the series by a combined score of 18-1.
