NAME: Lee Cummard

SCHOOL: BYU

POSITION: Guard

HEIGHT: 6-foot-7

WEIGHT: 190 pounds

SCOUTING REPORT: Cummard isn't the type of player that's going to take his man off the dribble, attack the hoop and finish high above the rim. With such a beautiful and accurate shot, though, he really doesn't need to. The three-time all-Mountain West Conference selection shot 53.5 percent from field, 43.1 percent from 3-point range and 84.2 percent from the free throw line in four seasons at BYU. Even though he's just 190 pounds, Cummard isn't afraid to battle with bigger and stronger players in the paint. He averaged 6.3 rebounds the past two seasons. Cummard has a lightning-fast release on his jumper, and he can shoot effectively on a spot-up opportunity or running full speed off a screen. His turnaround is difficult to defend, especially when he backs his man down low. Cummard isn't the quickest defender, but he gets his hands on plenty of loose balls. Cummard helped the Cougars reach the NCAA tournament the last three seasons, and he finished first in program history in games played (131), third in 3-pointers (153) and 10th with 1,569 points.
