Lucas leads No. 2 Michigan State to 76-53 win
Nov 10, 2009 - 2:21 AM EAST LANSING, Mich.(AP) -- Kalin Lucas had 18 points and Draymond Green added 15 points and 11 rebounds in No. 2 Michigan States final exhibition game, a 76-53 victory over Grand Valley State on Monday night.The Spartans again played without Raymar Morgan, who suffered a severe ankle sprain 10 days ago. Delvon Roe (concussion) and Chris Allen (groin strain) also sat out to make sure they are ready for Fridays season-opener against Florida Gulf Coast.
Toreau Brown had 10 points to lead the Lakers, who trailed by 10 at halftime and were still within 11 points midway through the second half.
Grand Valley, a Division II power, nearly beat Michigan State three years ago and upset the Spartans in double overtime two years ago.
