Utah Valley wins 78-58 over William Jessup
Dec 9, 2009 - 5:01 AM OREM, Utah(AP) -- Jordan Swarbrick's 21-point performance helped lead Utah Valley to a 78-58 victory over William Jessup on Tuesday night.Swarbrick was 6 for 8 from the field, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc. Jordan Baker was 8 for 12 from the field for 20 points, and he had a game-high seven rebounds.
The Wolverines' (4-4) bench outscored the Warriors' (3-7) bench 30-13. Utah Valley's Tyray Petty led all reserves with 12 points.
The Warriors were led by Jason Washington and Kadeem Kirsten, both had 14 points. Tevin Hurd added 12 points and was 2 for 4 from 3.
Utah Valley led 41-34 at the half before pulling away in the second half.
The Wolverines shot 50 percent from the field (24 for 48) and the Warriors shot 42.3 percent (22 for 52).
