IPFW routs Purdue-North Central, 101-55
Dec 29, 2009 - 3:30 AM FORT WAYNE, Ind.(AP) -- Deilvez Yearby scored 18 points to lead five IPFW players in double figures and the Mastodons routed Purdue-North Central 101-55 Monday night.IPFW, which shot 64 percent from the field in the game, led 53-23 at the half and was up by as many as 49 points in the second half.
Antwone Snead had 15 points and nine rebounds for IPFW (5-6). Brandon Gaines had 14 points and Zach Plackemeier and Nick Daniels scored 10 each.
Daniels just missed a triple double as he had nine assists, and contributed nine rebounds as the Mastodons held a 43-22 edge on the glass. Yearby also blocked six shots.
Ryan Sisson had 17 points to lead the Panthers (5-12), and Jean-Francois Ndomb had 14. Purdue-North Central plays in the NAIA.
