ASU's King kicked off basketball team

Jan 8, 2012 - 10:37 PM Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Arizona State guard Keala King was dismissed from the team Sunday.

"We have decided that Keala will no longer be with the team," ASU coach Herb Sendek said in a statement. "We wish him nothing but the best in his future."

King, a sophomore, was tied for the team's scoring lead, averaging 13.7 points in 13 games -- all starts. He sat the last two games because of a suspension.
