Morehead State officially introduces Woods

May 14, 2012 - 9:53 PM Morehead, KY (Sports Network) - Morehead State officially welcomed new head coach Sean Woods to the fold on Monday.

Named to the post on Saturday, Woods arrives from Mississippi Valley State, which he guided to the NCAA Tournament this past season. He becomes the 13th man to hold the post in program history.

"It's an honor to come back home and do something I love," Woods said. "You're not going to meet a guy more personable, energetic or passionate (about what he does) than me. We're going to be a high-octane team. We're going to play fast, be entertaining and you're going to love the student- athletes we bring to Morehead State."

Woods takes over for Donnie Tyndall, who was hired as head coach at Southern Mississippi last month.
