Braswell out as CSUN head basketball coach
Mar 20, 2013 - 4:25 AM Northridge, CA (Sports Network) - Cal State Northridge athletics director Dr. Brandon E. Martin announced Tuesday that the contract of head men's basketball coach Bobby Braswell will not be renewed."I want to thank coach Braswell for his 17 years of service and contributions to our men's basketball program and the university community at large," Martin said. "I wish coach Braswell and his family all the best moving forward."
Braswell had spent the last 17 seasons as CSUN's head coach, compiling a 251-258 record, including a 15-17 mark in 2012-13.
The search for a new head coach will begin immediately, according to Martin.
No one has shouted yet.
