Loyola Marymount, Good part ways
Mar 12, 2014 - 5:00 AM Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Loyola Marymount announced Tuesday it will not bring back head men's basketball coach Max Good next season.Good guided the Lions to a 13-19 record this season, which ended in a loss to Gonzaga in the quarterfinals of the West Coast Conference Tournament.
When an ill Bill Bayno stepped down as head coach in Jan. 2009, Good took over the position full time. His record at LMU was 77-117, including a porous 27-65 mark in WCC games.
Good has also been a head coach at Bryant College (2001-08), UNLV (2000-01) and Eastern Kentucky University (1985-90). His overall coaching record is 319-340.
