Report: Haith leaving Missouri for Tulsa
Apr 18, 2014 - 12:09 AM (SportsNetwork.com) - Frank Haith will leave Missouri after three seasons to be the next men's basketball coach at Tulsa, according to a report Thursday.Haith has reached an agreement in principle to coach the Golden Hurricane, CBSSports.com reported.
He would replace Danny Manning, who was named the new coach at Wake Forest on April 4 after leading Tulsa to a 38-29 record in two seasons and a berth in this year's NCAA Tournament.
Haith is 76-28 at Missouri but is looking for a way out, according to a source in the CBSSports.com story. The Tigers missed the NCAA Tournament this past season and tied for sixth place in the SEC.
