Delaware's Threatt kicked off team

Jun 10, 2014 - 8:47 PM Newark, DE (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarvis Threatt, a key member of Delaware's 2013-14 Colonial Athletic Association champion team, has been dismissed from the men's basketball program for an unspecified violation of team rules.

Threatt, a rising senior, started 25 games for the Blue Hens last season and led the team with 141 assists and 64 steals while averaging a career-best 18 points per game.

The Richmond, Va. native was a third-team All-CAA selection as a sophomore in 2012-13.

Threatt was also suspended for a month during Delaware's run to the NCAA Tournament for athletic department policy violations.

Delaware reached the NCAAs for the first time since 1999 this past season and compiled a 25-5 overall record.
