Coggins transfers from Air Force to Cal State Fullerton
Jul 31, 2014 - 12:57 AM Fullerton, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Guard Tre' Coggins, who led Air Force in scoring last season, has transferred to Cal State Fullerton.Coggins, who is from San Juan Capistrano, Calif., averaged 16 points last season for Air Force, but decided to leave the school at the end of his sophomore season. He will redshirt the 2014-15 campaign at Cal State Fullerton and be eligible to play for 2015-16.
"We are extremely excited to add Tre' to the Titan family," head coach Dedrique Taylor said. "He embodies all that our program stands for. Tre' is very mature, he's got great experience having played very well at Air Force, and he is coming home. The future of our program is very bright with Tre' Coggins joining the Titans."
Coggins also paced Air Force in three-pointers (72) and steals (32) last season, a big improvement from his freshman year when he averaged 2.4 points in 31 games off the bench.
