Sophomore Much receives NCAA waiver, can play right away

Nov 15, 2015 - 8:29 PM VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) Iona sophomore guard Deyshonee Much received a legislative relief waiver from the NCAA and is eligible to play in Sunday's season opener at Valparaiso.

Much played his freshman season (2013-14) at the University of Buffalo and enrolled at Iona last January.

The 6-foot-5 Much averaged 1.3 points in 6.6 minutes in 22 games for the Bulls as a freshman. He has practiced with the Gaels since his enrollment in the spring 2015 semester.
