Cincinnati routs Robert Morris 106-44
Nov 15, 2015 - 9:23 PM CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) Farad Cobb scored 15 points, Shaq Thomas and Kevin Johnson each scored 14 and Cincinnati defeated Robert Morris 106-44 on Sunday.It's the first time the Bearcats have scored more than 100 points since scoring 102 against Chicago State in 2013.
Coreontae DeBerry scored 12 points and his dunk early in the first half sparked a 13-3 run for a 26-14 Bearcats lead. Johnson hit two of his four 3-pointers and Cincinnati pulled ahead 51-25 at halftime.
The Bearcats (2-0) ripped a 21-5 run to open the second half in which Thomas made back-to-back dunks and led by 42 after seven minutes of play.
Justin Jenifer scored 11, Octavius Ellis and Quadri Moore added 10 each, and Troy Caupain had a career-high-tying nine assists. The Bearcats shot 53.5 percent and held the Colonials to 28 percent.
Rodney prior led the Robert Morris (0-2) with 17 and Isaiah Still chipped in 11.
