Houston Baptist tops NCCAA Crowley's Ridge 102-62
Nov 17, 2015 - 4:47 AM HOUSTON (AP) Anthony Odunsi had 17 points and 10 assists, and Houston Baptist got 47 from its bench in a 102-62 win over NCCAA Crowley's Ridge Monday night.Odunsi and five other Huskies (1-1) scored in double figures. Colter Lasher was 8 of 10 for 17 points, and Asa Cantwell scored 13 points, Trey Patterson 12, Reveal Chukwujekwu 11 and Josh Ibarra 10.
Devin Pearson had 31 points on 13-of-26 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds for Crowley's Ridge. Shaquille Culbreath had 13 points and eight assists.
Trailing by 22 points at the half, Crowley's Ridge cut the deficit to 17 less than four minutes in, but a quick 9-0 run by the Huskies killed any chance for a Pioneers comeback.
Houston Baptist shot 61 percent from the field and outscored Crowley's Ridge 66-28 in the paint.
