North Dakota State beats NAIA Valley City State 69-49
Nov 19, 2015 - 4:21 AM FARGO, N.D. (AP) Paul Miller scored 17 points with three steals and North Dakota State rolled to a 69-49 victory over NAIA Valley City State on Wednesday night.Miller was 6 of 13 from the field. A.J. Jacobson and Kory Brown added 14 points and four steals for the Bison (2-1).
Justyn Galloway scored 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting, Rashad Satahoo chipped in 9 points, and LJ Booth had 9 points, eight rebounds and two blocks to lead Valley City State.
The Vikings had a couple of early leads in the first half, and pulled to 37-36 with 13:38 to play. Miller scored 6 points and Malik Clements 5, and the Bison stretched their lead to 48-36. Galloway made a 3-pointer, but the Bison answered with a 15-2 run to pull away.
North Dakota State has won 12 straight home openers.
