Stony Brook with 91-42 win over Div. III Farmingdale State

(AP) Jameel Warney posted a double-double, scoring 16 points with 10 rebounds, as Stony Brook beat Division III Farmingdale State 91-42 on Saturday.Kameron Mitchell had 12 points and three assists for the Seawolves (3-2). Ahmad Walker scored 11 points with nine rebounds and five assists and Bryan Sekunda added nine points. The team averaged 47.3 percent shooting from the field, 71.4 percent from the line and had a 54-29 rebounding edge over the Rams.
Stony Brook opened the first half with a 12-4 run and took it to 30-4 with the help of back-to-back 3-pointers by Roland Nyama. The Seawolves amassed a 52-18 advantage at the break.
A Mitchell 3-pointer stretched the Stony Brook lead to 65-25 with 12:57 to play in the second period. Farmingdale never threatened after that and were shut out for the final four minutes.
Anthony Lanieri led the Rams with 15 points.
