Paris sisters help Oklahoma hold off Missouri
Feb 7, 2008 - 6:33 AM COLUMBIA, Missouri (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris scored 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead No. 10 Oklahoma to a 64-57 victory over Missouri on Wednesday in a Big 12 Conference contest.Ashley Paris added 19 points for the Sooners (16-4, 6-2 Big 12), who shot just 40 percent (27-of-67) from the field but made up for it by outrebounding the Tigers, 59-27.
Danielle Robinson helped Oklahoma hang on as she hit a pair of free throws, and then converted a layup off a steal to stake the Sooners to a 62-57 lead with 17 seconds remaining.
Alyssa Hollins scored 19 points for Missouri (8-14, 1-8), which has lost seven straight games and 10 of 12.
