Albany women's coach Abrahamson-Henderson leaving for UCF

(AP) University at Albany women's basketball coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson is leaving the school to coach Central Florida.Abrahamson-Henderson guided the Great Danes to five straight America East Tournament titles and three times was the conference's coach of the year. In six years at Albany, she was 146-47 overall and 83-13 in league play.
Albany was a No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament and defeated fifth-seeded Florida for the school's first victory in the NCAAs. The Great Danes were eliminated by Syracuse.
UCF plays in the American Athletic Conference and went 7-23 this season, including 4-14 in the conference.
