Purdue gives football coach Hope 1-year extension
Apr 14, 2010 - 7:32 PM WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.(AP) -- Purdue football coach Danny Hope has agreed to a one-year contract extension through the 2014 season.The school announced Wednesday that the deal provides guaranteed compensation of $900,000 for 2010, with bonuses tied to paid attendance, as well as academic and athletic performance that could add an extra $500,000.
Hope initially signed a six-year contract with the Boilermakers in January 2008, with the first year as associate head coach and the remaining five as head coach.
