Yale Bowl celebrating 100th anniversary
May 1, 2014 - 8:25 PM New Haven, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Yale's 100th anniversary of its famous football stadium will be celebrated this fall, and the Ivy League university has released a commemorative logo for the 2014 season. The season-long celebration at the Yale Bowl will include special historical distinctions at each of the Bulldogs' six home games, tributes to the Bowl in the game programs, unique band performances, the selection of all-era Yale football teams, and an exclusive website (yalebowl100.com).
There are two versions of the Yale Bole logo - one is blue and white, and the other has multiple colors. The art also includes three flags sitting atop the distinct Yale Bowl aisles, which surround a row of smaller portals. All of that is contained in the Bowl-shaped logo with "YALE BOWL 100" at the top and "1914-2014" at the bottom.
