Albany, ODU to meet in 2017
Apr 5, 2016 - 4:19 PM (STATS) - Albany will open its 2017 season with a visit to Conference USA member Old Dominion.The game is scheduled for Sept. 2. Albany will receive a reported $275,000 guarantee.
The two programs have met once - ODU's 66-10 win in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2013, the season in which Albany joined CAA Football while the Monarchs departed for a transition to the FBS.
Albany is 10-13 in coach Greg Gattuso's first two seasons. This year, the Great Danes will face an FBS opponent in Buffalo.
