Katrina Grant staying at Central Pulse
Jul 17, 2014 - 12:27 AM Central Pulse have retained their captain for the trans-Tasman league after defender Katrina Grant extended her stay by another season.Grant has played five seasons at the Pulse in an 87-game ANZ Championship career which began with two seasons for the Southern Steel.
The 27-year-old wants to drive the Pulse into the playoffs for the first time in 2015 after narrowly missing out twice.
"We've been so close to making the play-offs these last couple of seasons and I'm looking forward to having another go," she said.
Grant has played 49 Tests since 2008 and is poised to raise her half-century at the Commonwealth Games beginning next week in Glasgow.
